Eating Out In Singapore

Paul and Ant venture into Singapore to explore the food, coffee and beverages.

Along the way they seek out tasty dumplings and Ant manages to guide them to a great restaurant where they enjoy eight different varieties of Shao Long Bao (pr. shou long bou). Paul explains the correct way to eat this regional delicacy.

Paul and Ant seek out the hidden coffee gems of Singapore which it turns out is not an easy thing. They find themselves in a small cafe that could be anywhere in the world where they briefly take a break.

Next, Paul and Ant go in search of Singapore's bars and finds themselves at Level 33 atop the Marina Bay financial district. Here, they not only get a great view of Singpore Harbour but are introduced to the first micro brewery in a skyscraper. Cheers to sampling the tasting paddle of assorted hand made beer.

Finally, Paul and Ant visit Telok Ayer Market, colloquially known as Lau Pa Sat. Lau Pa Sat is a historic building located in Downtown Singapore within the Central Business Distrist. There they find the food authentic and the prices inexpensive. It provides them with a taste of genuine food in the centre of the city.
